Restore and Protect Copper

Copper is an excellent metal for architectural projects, used in many features to highlight a building, art or architecture. The problem is that it tarnishes, oxidizes and is subjected to pollutants, losing its distinctive copper color. Everbrite manufactures restoration and protection systems for copper to keep it looking its best for years to come.

The finish of the copper can be “frozen” at any level of patina that you prefer, capturing it in time forever. Copper can also be artificially patinated and then sealed to protect that particular finish. The finish can be maintained indefinitely.

Before & After

For architectural copper, use Everbrite Coating as it has UV blockers to protect from sun damage and weathering and is an excellent copper protector. Use Everbrite Coating for copper roofs, copper gutters, copper art and sculptures, and other architectural copper.

For copper that is high-use or high-touch, we recommend ProtectaClear or CrobialCoat, as these coatings are more scratch-resistant. Use for copper sinks, copper counters, copper railings, mirror polished copper and other copper that gets a lot of use and abuse.

The clear, protective coatings manufactured by Everbrite are not thick or "plastic” looking. They are nearly-invisible thin-film coatings that protect the metal from tarnish, oxidation, and the build-up of debris, including soot, dirt, oil and bird droppings.
